Summary:
INTERCEPT project aims to establish a central cross-border Threat Sharing Platform (TSP) centered on a sophisticated CTI platform. Through this initiative, each partner will seamlessly integrate the MISP platform into their internal operations, fostering knowledge sharing and collaboration across borders.
The TSP platform will facilitate the exchange of enriched data among partners, enhancing collective cybersecurity efforts. Key features of TSP: 1. Automation and Efficiency. 2. Knowledge Sharing: 3. Functional Development (overarching Consortium MISP platform) – integration of advanced ML algorithms and LLMs 4. Comprehensive Data Aggregation: Focus on aggregating data from diverse sources, including various managed SOCs, national entities such as SI-CERT (Slovenia) and CRO-CERT (Croatia), as well as publicly accessible CTI repositories. 5. Data Automation and Anonymization: 6. Privacy and Compliance: Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations by automating the anonymization process to safeguard sensitive information. 7. Dissemination and Collaboration: Transmit anonymized data to the Consortium MISP platform for dissemination among consortium partners and the wider community, enhancing the region’s cyber resilience through collaborative efforts.
By consolidating resources and expertise, INTERCEPT project aims to empower consortium partners’ SOC to address cybersecurity challenges more effectively and proactively mitigate emerging threats.
Project objectives:
INTERCEPTs’ overall objective is enhancement of SOCs from two countries by development of the necessary technology and establishment of a cross border cyber security cooperation in a form of a common TSP to facilitate cross-border cooperation in tackling cyber threats.
Specific objectives are:
SO1: Establish a common TSP for SOCs;
SO2: boosting and empowering Cross-Border Cooperation in SOCs;
SO3: strengthen cyber security capabilities of SOCs;
SO4: stakeholder engagement and capacity building and
SO5: Ensure Regulatory Compliance and Data Protection.
