SI-CERT has, in addition to national funding, also secured European funds for its activities, operations, and necessary technical development. Over the past decade, these funds have enabled SI-CERT to enhance its technical infrastructure and achieve the required compliance with national and European standards and legislation.

As the national response point for network incidents, SI-CERT also participates in project consortia which are seeking additional funding from European programmes that (co-)finance the development of new technologies, digitalisation, and cybersecurity in EU Member States, while also supporting sectoral cooperation at both national and international levels.
