EU funded projects
SI-CERT has obtained European funds in addition to national funding to support its activities, operations, and necessary technical development. Over the past decade, these funds have enabled SI-CERT to improve and upgrade its technical equipment and to ensure compliance with national and European standards and legislation.
SI-CERT, as the national contact point performing the tasks of the governmental Computer Emergency Response Team, also participates in project consortia that seek additional funding from European programmes. These programmes (co-)finance the development of new technologies, digitalisation, cybersecurity in the EU Member States, and also support sectoral cooperation at both national and international levels.
In the EU 2014–2020 financial framework, funds were granted under the following programmes:
- Connecting Europe Facility – CEF
Action: 2017-SI-IA-0124 – Strengthening operational aspects of cyber-security capacities in Slovenia
- Horizon 2020 – H2020
Project: CyberSEAS: Cyber Securing Energy dAta Services
In the 2014–2020 financial perspective, funds were granted under the following programmes:

- Project: ALiEnS-SOC – Artificial Intelligence for Slovenian Electro-Energy Sector Security Operation Centre
